| 4-H Electric Camp is a fun-filled, rewarding adventure in
electricity at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. At
camp, you will learn what electricity is and how it works.
You will work with electrical specialists from across the
state
in learning centers. Each learning center will consist of hands-on
activities so that you can learn by doing. You will also have
the chance to meet other 4-H'ers from across Tennessee and
explore careers in energy, electricity and basic sciences.
Each camper
will receive a certificate, a T-shirt and items that you have
made at camp. It's really an electrifying experience! |

As an Electric Camp delegate, you should be the
best representative of 4-H as possible. Be an example of a model
4-H'er! |
| 1. |
Make it a point to be on time or ahead of time for each session
and event. |
| 2. |
Be a good listener. You will be receiving instructions from
some of the top electrical and energy specialists in the state.
You can impress them by your attentiveness. |
| 3. |
Smoking and chewing gum are out of place during the conference. |
| 4. |
Thoughtfulness in writing notes of appreciation to sponsors,
leaders, agents and parents will mean much to them. |
| 5. |
Share your experiences with others when you return home. Take
notes and be prepared to give an interesting and worthwhile
account of your 4-H Electric Camp experiences. |
