Tera PeetTera Peet of Crockett County is attending National 4-H Congress as a state winner in the Nutrition, Health and Fitness project. Tera is the daughter of Roderick and Diane Claybrooks. She has been active in her project for three years where she has served as June Dairy month chairperson and assisted with the Kids in the Kitchen program. She also helped to conduct a health fair in her county. Tera believes 4-H has taught her the importance of serving others in her community through the All Star program. She has served as vice-president of her county 4-H Honor Club and has participated in the horse project as well as various judging teams. Her future goals are to attend Middle Tennessee State University and major in a health related field and minoring in Spanish.

Jesse Pez

Jesse Paz of Warren County volunteered at an Ethiopian orphanage caring for children and delivering medical supplies as a part of her winning Citizenship project. Jesse has volunteered for various organizations and served as president of the Teen Health Council during her five years in the citizenship project. She has also been active in the public speaking, personal development, and consumer decision making projects. As a Warren County 4-H member, she has served as service committee chairman, coach of consumer decision making teams and a teen leader at county and regional events. Jesse credits the 4-H program for helping her become more organized through competitive record keeping. Jesse is attending Wheaton College majoring in international relations and Spanish. She is the daughter of Chris and Mary Jane Paz.


Cece RaffoCece Raffo of Marshall County is the state winner in the Clothing and Textiles project. She is the daughter of Vitto and Lisa Raffo of Lewisburg. Cece constructed, repaired and altered clothing, donated corn buddies to the local nursing home and taught her younger sister how to sew as a part of her state winning project. She has served as a teen leader in her county 4-H club and at junior 4-H club. Cece has also participated in the nutrition, health and fitness, public speaking and dairy project groups. She has been active in her community and school serving as treasurer of her high school sorority, vice president of the Leo Club, vice president of Rotary Interact Club and a member of the Beta Club. Cece plans to enter the field of aeronautical engineering.


Lindsey Rochelle

Lindsey Rochelle of Hickman County is the state winner in the Leadership project. She is the daughter of Danny and Cheryl Rochelle. Lindsey has taught fourth grade 4-H clubs; trained club officers; led portfolio, Honor Club application and Academic Conference workshops; served as a teen leader at junior 4-H camp; taught CyberSenior/CyberTeen computer classes; and put on play productions for Summer Reading Hour at two local libraries. She has also been active in the communications project, winning Level l and participating in public speaking for nine years. Lindsey has served as State Council secretary, Western Region All Star messenger, and Honor Club president. Lindsey was Student Council president and vice president of her high school chapter of Future Business Leaders of America. Lindsey is a freshman at the University of Tennessee-Knoxville majoring in food and agriculture business.
