David Walker of Blount County is a state winner in the Swine project. David is the son of John and Deanna Walker. David has participated in the swine project the past seven years. His other projects include sheep, beef and plant sciences. David is a member of the Blount County Junior Livestock Association, Tennessee Junior Livestock Producers Association and the Tennessee Valley Fair Youth Board. David was a member of the Blount County 4-H meats judging team that qualified for the Western National Roundup in Denver, Colorado. David was a state swine skillathon winner and will participate on the 2011 state 4-H livestock skillathon team. David has held many offices in his school and FFA Chapter, and he is very active in his church's youth organization. After graduating from high school, David plans to attend the University of Tennessee at Martin to major in agronomy or agricultural tech systems.

Lysa Walterhouse of Shelby County is a state winner in the Line and Design project. Lysa is the daughter of Douglas and Mineko Walterhouse. Lysa has been involved in the line and design project for seven years. Due to Lysa's extensive involvement in 4-H, she was awarded the senior Level I state winner recognition in the line and design and citizenship projects. She volunteered numerous hours with the line and design camp and sewing groups. She is also involved in the forestry, wildlife, and fisheries; clothing and textiles and photography projects. Lysa is an Explorer with the Shelby County Sheriff's Office and ranks in Kendo. Upon completing high school, she plans to attend the University of Arkansas and major in criminal justice.

Enoch Weaver is the state winner in the Personal Development. He is the son of Paul and Lea Weaver. He has been a 4-H member for the past nine years and has participated in the personal development project for four years. His project activities include leading a junior high 4-H Honor Club with 10 members. This other projects include forestry, entomology and leadership. He was a leadership finalist for three years at State 4-H Congress. Enoch has served in leadership positions on the local, regional and state levels. He served on State 4-H Council for two years. Enoch is active in the youth group at his church and serves as mixed choir president. Enoch is a freshman at the University of Tennessee at Martin majoring in music education.

Graci Weber of Knox County is a state winner in the Consumer Education/Economics project. She is the daughter of Chuck and Renee Weber. She has been involved in the consumer education/economics project for the past seven years. Graci is a member of the Knox County consumer decision making judging team. She has held several leadership positions on the local and state level. She serves on the Southern Region Teen Leadership Conference planning committee, serves as Knox County 4-H Honor Club vice president, has been a teen leader at Fashion and Design Camp and served as a junior 4-H camp counselor. Graci serves as captain of the cross country and swimming teams at her high school. Upon graduation, she plans to attend William and Mary College to major in art history/economics.

Nathan Wells of Loudon County is a state winner in the Nutrition, Health and Firness project. Nathan is the son of Scot and Missy Wells. Nathan has participated in this project for four years and has been a member of 4-H for the past nine years. During his involvement in this project, Nathan launched the "Health Rocks My Socks" program in his home county to educate youth of the dangers of obesity and the importance of fitness. Nathan has also participated in the veterinary science and photography projects. Nathan has held numerous offices on the local, regional and state level. He is a past Tennessee 4-H Congress Governor, State 4-H Council Junior Representative and a State 4-H Council Senior Representative. Nathan is very active in his church and community. He is the church pianist and youth activities director. He as a member of the Red Cross "Fast" volunteer group and a CPR AED/First Aid Red Cross instructor. Nathan is a freshman Roane State Community College majoring in pre-medicine and psychology.

Cheyenne West of Claiborne County is a state winner in the Clothing and Textiles project. She is the daughter of Claude and Denise West. Cheyenne has been involved in 4-H for nine years and participated in the clothing and textiles project the past two years. She was named a senior Level I winner in both the line and design and clothing and textiles projects. Cheyenne taught sewing clases and interview skills to 4-H club members in her county. She has served as both president and vice president of her local club. After completing high school, Cheyenne plans to attend Middle Tennessee State University and purse a medical degree.
