Hamilton County 4-H Youth leadership Club

The 4-H Youth Leadership Club in Hamilton County received a 4-H S.O.S. mini-grant to fund a restoration project at the Eastdale Community Center. Because the playground at the center was covered with graffiti, they decided to re-paint the equipment and make it more beautiful for the children who play there. They also built flower beds, which taught them masonry skills. The project is on-going as they work to plant flowers and continue to improve the community center. The 4-H agent working with the Leadership Club sent these pictures and captions to share the story of their service learning project.
