2002 State 4-H Congress:
Project Unlimited Support


Over 300 youth and adults collected donations for Project Unlimited Support, an organization that sends support items to American troops stationed overseas and their families at Fort Campbell. In all, Congress participants donated 6532 items and 542 cards and letters.


Delegates and volunteers signed a sheet to note
how many items and cards they were donating.


Giles County delegates hosted 2 live radio broadcasts to solicit donations from their community members and also collected items at Leadership and Character Development Cemp. They collected 2596 items and 246 cards and letters!


Delegates from Monroe County donated the items their Honor Club had collected.

Volunteer leaders helped prepare the items for transport.

 

Central District enjoyed a pizza party because 89% of their Congress delegation participated in Project U.S.


 



Leadership, Citizenship, and Public Speaking
contestants made 101 cards for the troops.
