How do I tell people about our project?

If your group is working on a service learning project, you should tell people about it. Word of mouth is good, but you should also consider some other ways. You may need to ask an adult to help you.

  • Make a poster about the project to hang in the school or wherever your group meets.
  • Put an article and/or picture in the local paper.
  • Keep a scrapbook of pictures and stories about the project. You can enter your scrapbook in the 4-H S.O.S. Service Learning Scrapbook contest! Click here for more details.
  • Put up a display at the county fair.
  • Submit your Service Learning Activity Report Form on the 4-H S.O.S. website. All reports submitted on-line will be posted on the website, plus your group will get a special token of recognition!

Do you have ideas for other ways to share? E-mail us!
