State Committee of Volunteer Leaders

The primary purpose of the State Committee of Volunteer Leaders is to provide a representative group of volunteer 4-H leaders to assist the state 4-H staff in planning, executing and evaluating aspects of state 4-H Youth Development programs involving 4-H volunteer leaders

There are three volunteer 4-H leaders per region on this committee. Each is appointed for a term of three years and are not be eligible to succeed themselves. The appointment shall be so made that each year one leader in each region is appointed. Thus, one-third of the committee will be serving their first term, one-third in their second term, and one-third their third and final term annually.
