In 2005, 14,837 individuals served as volunteers with Tennessee 4-H Youth Development. Many of these volunteers are the parents of 4-H members; many are former 4-H'ers who want to insure that the rich, rewarding experiences that touched their lives are available to youth today; others just enjoy working with young people. Whoever they are, 4-H volunteers share a commitment to young people and a willingness to give generously of their time and talents.
