Vol State Recognition

Tennessee 4-H Vol State is the highest honor a 4-H member can achieve in the state. This recognition is reserved for those who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in their project work, leadership, and service to others. It reflects years of dedication, growth, and commitment to the values of 4-H, and it represents the pinnacle of statewide recognition for young people making a lasting impact in their communities.

How to become a Vol State Recipient

To become a Vol State recipient, you must meet several requirements. You must be an active 4-H member, enrolled in the 11th or 12th grade as of January 1 of the current year, and already recognized as a 4-H All Star. You must also attend the State 4-H Roundup. Each county can recommend a limited number of members based on its enrollment, and those nominations are reviewed by regional staff before being approved by the state 4-H office.
