The Tennessee 4-H Healthy Living Ambassador program is for teens who are passionate about promoting health and wellness. Each county can appoint up to six ambassadors to represent their community. These ambassadors work with their 4-H or Family and Consumer Sciences agents to lead local healthy living programs, encourage positive lifestyle choices, and support county initiatives.
Serving as a Healthy Living Ambassador offers many benefits, including building leadership and public speaking skills, connecting with peers and health professionals, and gaining experience in nutrition, fitness, and wellness education. Ambassadors may also attend special events, help with 4-H cooking competitions, and assist with programs like 4-H Health Rocks.

Applications for the Tennessee 4-H Healthy Living Ambassadors program are accepted each program year and are due in the spring. Selected ambassadors serve as leaders and advocates for wellness, helping promote healthy living initiatives in their communities throughout the year.
The program year is from August 1st to July 31st. Students are welcome to reapply for this program if they are current Healthy Living Ambassadors.
