Tennessee 4-H Performing Arts Troupe

The Tennessee 4-H Performing Arts Troupe is a group of talented and vivacious high school 4-H members. Members from the entire state perform themed shows at various events throughout the year, including fairs, conventions, and conferences. 

The purpose of the 4-H Performing Arts Troupe is to showcase talent while increasing confidence, responsibility, and leadership as a team member. Members of a team highlight skills, talents, and more in their 4-H careers.

Open to current 8th – 11th graders!

2023-2024 PAT Auditions


General Audition Information

  • Auditions should be no more than 10 minutes total (live or recorded)
  • Your audition (live or virtual) should include you singing two songs from 2 different genres.  For example – Country and Broadway, Showtunes and Folk.
  • If you play a musical instrument or dance, feel free to do so during your audition or add one additional video to your virtual upload.

You must be registered on the link for both live and virtual before
Friday, March 3rd, 2023, at 6:00 PM EST.


2023 Live Audition Information

The 2023-24 4-H PAT live auditions will be held on Saturday, March 18, 2023, at the Embassy Suites in Murfreesboro, TN.
These will be held the day before State 4-H Congress begins.

2023 Virtual Audition Information

The 2023-24 4-H PAT virtual auditions should be uploaded to your registration form by Friday, April 14, 2023, at 6:00 PM EST.
If you do not have your audition video ready when you register, you will be sent instructions on uploading your videos to your email. Please do not resubmit a new response to do this!

  • Troupe members must audition and be selected each year.
  • Troupe members must sign a current rooming agreement and current member agreement that details the expectations of members and conduct within 4-H and PAT guidelines. 
  • Troupe members must attend a summer workshop (usually a weekend in July) and a spring workshop (usually 2-3 weeks before State 4-H Congress in March). 
  • The Tennessee 4-H program does not provide transportation to and from workshops; meals and lodging are included. 
  • You may be asked to attend and assist with Performing Arts programs/camps in the future if selected for the year.
  • Parents/guardians and PAT members are highly encouraged to keep in contact with Daniel Collins – State 4-H Specialist who oversees the 4-H PAT, Robin Beals – 4-H PAT Director, and Glenda Booker – 4-H PAT Costuming Coordinator. Other volunteers are involved on an episodic basis throughout the PAT year.
