4-H LIVES HEALTHY IN MONROE COUNTY
Holly Williams McMahan, Extension Agent I
Over the last several months, 4-H members across the county have been learning how to be a community of 4-H Food Smart Families, a grant funded program through United Healthcare. To carry out the grant, Rebecca Layman, Family Consumer Science Extension Agent, and I work with 4-H members across the county teaching healthy eating preparation and physical fitness. The teaching includes hands-on learning experiences in a mobile kitchen.
Here is a video on 4-H Food Smart Families at the Monroe County Boxing Club.
