| Ag Day on the Hill was held last week and was an opportunity for 4-H members, FFA members, and other agricultural leaders to visit the Tennessee State Capitol in Nashville and share their experiences with legislators. Special activities included many educational exhibits including one that featured UT Extension and Tennesse 4-H— as well as a visit from Governor Bill Lee. The 4-H members helped to prepare and serve breakfast for the legislators. State 4-H Council President, Hadley Brown had the opportunity to meet with the House Agricultural Committee. While bringing greetings, she was able to tell about the importance of youth agriculture and 4-H programs across our great state. It was a wonderful day sharing what we love in agriculture and getting to showcase our amazing 4-H members. |
