The Giles County Food Smart Families program will be working with a middle school to reach about 300 students in 6th-8th grade. We will be partnering with the Guidance counselor and the Physical Education teacher to put on the program. We will also be working with Leaps and Bounds program to reach more students in the rural part of the county. We will be having a meet and greet at Parent Teacher conference. We will have a County wide Meet and Greet during Extension Month. We are looking forward to working with the kids and teaching them about food and making them Food Smart Families.
