HENRY COUNTY GRADUATES YOUTH FOR HEALTHIER LIVES
Henry County 4-H and the Henry County Prevention Coalition worked together to conduct Health Rocks! programming in 2017. After-school programming was conducted at In-man Middle School during the spring. We held 11 meetings where important lessons about health and wellness were shared.
The programming served twenty students, and a graduation party was held at the completion of the project. Teen Coalition board members received training and served as leaders. At graduation, students signed a pledge banner, received certificates, and special awards for 100% participation.
It was a very successful program, and the kids thoroughly enjoyed it.
