Lynne Middleton, Interim State 4-H Curriculum Specialist

Coming Soon!

Last week was spent at the Southern Region Biennial Conference where Tennessee 4-H Specialists networked with other states’ specialists, learned what others are doing, and discussed what programs we have in common. There is lots going on behind the scenes right now and I am very excited about what’s coming! Be on the lookout for Listening Sessions that will take place in May to unveil new curriculum and offer a time for agents and program assistants to give input.

STEM Steering Committee

Today is the deadline to contact Lynne if you would like to serve on the STEM Steering Committee working with Daniel Collins, state STEM specialist. There will be a chance to hear firsthand what is new in the STEM world and also help steer STEM programming in Tennessee by serving on this committee.

All-Call for New Lessons

4-H lessons are published by UTIA Marketing and Communications but there is currently a pause on production. This would be an excellent time for 4-H Agents and Program Assistants to send Lynne Middleton any lessons, resources, program guides that have been developed. Lynne will work on editing, sending your publication out for peer review, and getting it published with Marketing and Communications.
