I competed at Western National Roundup in Denver, CO, in Impromptu Public Speaking and Fashion Revue. I thoroughly enjoyed both competitions, and learned a great deal in preparing for each one. In public speaking, I placed third overall, and in Fashion Revue I was blessed to place first as the overall champion in the clothing construction category.

For the competition, I wore an evening dress I made through my county sewing camp. The Fashion Revue competition consisted of an interview and a public fashion show where I was judged on my introduction to the crowd and my modeling skills.

I had an immense amount of fun at this event, and am very happy with the outcome and payoff from the hard work I put into each competition.
