As part of the emphasis on 4-H Volunteers for April (National Volunteer Month), let me tell you about a wonderful opportunity for you (as a 4-H professional) and your 4-H volunteers.  
 
Take some time to explore the website of the National 4-H Volunteer Conference, happening September 28 – October 1, in Rock Eagle GA. There is currently a call for workshop session proposals. I know there are some of you (ok, a bunch of you!) who have some wonderful 4-H ideas. Please share!
 
The priority deadline is May 15 for this call for proposals. After reading the “Session Proposal Information,”  submit your workshop idea.  
 
Tennessee 4-H will also give a $200 registration scholarship for all participants who have an accepted session proposal. Registration for the conference opens on June 1.
