We are looking for 25 teens and emerging adults (ages 17-23) to participate in a January event called Owning Life. This three Sunday event will be held at a local business in west Knox County. This event partners with local business professionals to introduce participants to the world of work.
This is a free event for teens or emerging adults and the topics covered will include:
- Lifestyle and career exploration
- Goal writing
- Resume building and writing
- Interviewing
- Saving and spending
- Taxes, insurance, and other adulting issues
Prizes and incentives will be awarded to those participating in all three sessions held on January 23, January 30, and February 6.
