State Livestock and Meats Judging Contest to be held in Knoxville June 4

The 2019 state 4-H livestock and meats judging contests have been set for Tuesday, June 4, in the Animal Science arena at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. Each region is eligible to send four teams to each event. Those qualifying include:

Livestock Judging:

  • Henderson A
  • Henry A
  • McNairy B
  • Decatur B
  • Lincoln A
  • Wilson A
  • Lincoln B
  • Lincoln C
  • Cumberland A
  • Anderson B
  • Claiborne A
  • Jefferson A

Meats Judging:

  • Weakley A
  • Henry A
  • Lauderdale A
  • Henderson A
  • Bedford A
  • Rutherford A
  • Macon B
  • Lincoln A
  • Bradley A
  • Monroe A
  • Monroe B
  • Hancock A

Please verify as soon as possible that your team will attend. If you have a qualifying team not competing, contact your regional office so they can offer the opportunity to the next team in ranking order.

Register your team(s) and guest in SUPER. Registration information allows us to effectively plan for the event and the meal. Deadline to register in SUPER is Thursday, May 23th.

The event registration will begin at 8:30 a.m. EDT with the contests getting underway at 9:30 a.m. There will be an awards banquet at approximately 5:30 p.m. EDT, in Hollingsworth Auditorium. If you have questions, please email Carmen G Burgos.
