State Staff Welcomes Celina Menard

On September 1, the state 4-H office welcomed Celina Menard as the communications specialist for Tennessee 4-H and the Extension Dean’s office. 

She is a 2021 graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville where she received her BS in agricultural leadership, education, and communications with a concentration in communications.

Currently, she is perusing a master’s degree in communications and information with a concentration in journalism and electronic media.

She is originally from Greeneville, Tennessee, where she was introduced to agriculture and Extension through involvement with organizations such as 4-H and FFA.

During her time in college, she stayed involved on campus by serving as a student ambassador for the Herbert College of Agriculture, an officer for Collegiate 4-H and FFA, and in several capacities for Sigma Alpha Professional Agricultural Sorority. She was a student worker for Extension Evaluation and Staff Development and the Herbert College of Agriculture. During and after her undergraduate career, she engaged in internships with UTIA Advancement, SiteOne Landscape Supply, and Tennessee Farm Bureau.
