Third Quarter Honor Club Summary

Justin Crowe, Extension Specialist

We believe Honor Club is a good measure of a quality teen program. A county cannot have Honor Club members if there are not a lot of opportunities for participation.

At the end of the third quarter, the Eastern Region leads the state with 135 initiates. Madison is the top county with 53 initiates; followed by Bradley with 43; Moore with 17; Polk with 15; and Sumner and Williamson with 12 each. For a complete summary of the 2018 Honor Club initiates by region and county, go to the 4-H website.

Savannah Dodson, student assistant in our department, is working with Honor Club this year. If you have Honor Club applications to be approved, be sure to use a summary form to list the applicants and allow enough time for her to review and process the applications in time for your initiation ceremony.
