Dr. Richard Clark

Members of the University of Tennessee Collegiate 4-H/FFA Club and teens from State 4-H Council represented Tennessee 4-H at the re- cent UT Ag Day celebration. Not only did they share the story of 4-H with thousands of citizens attending the event, they also spent some time talking to the USDA Secretary of Agriculture, Dr. Sonny Perdue. Secretary Perdue was visiting Tennessee to see the wildfire devastation in Sevier County and to learn more about the Tennessee Institute of Agriculture.They learned from Dr. Perdue that he is a strong support- er of both FFA and 4-H. Secretary Perdue was delighted to learn about our amazing Tennessee 4-H program from our great 4-H ambassadors.
