Lynne Middleton, Interim State 4-H Curriculum Specialist
Tennessee 4-H Recognition Handbook
A few weeks back, I (Lynne) had the pleasure of presenting a curriculum update to the Tennessee Association of Extension 4-H Workers in the Eastern Region at Roane State Park.
As I finished my presentation and asked for questions, one attendee asked if I could put together a list or packet of all of the rules for Tennessee 4-H contests. Thinking, “I’ve been an agent for 22 years and I’ve never seen anything like that,” I decided to create a list. Fast forward to when I got back to the office and began asking around… Come to find out, we already have it!
If you would like to learn about all of the awards and recognitions available, or you would like to review the rules for many of the contests that are held in 4-H, you can find them on the website.
Lori Gallimore, State 4-H Specialist, oversees awards and recognition but if I can help in any way as far as clarifying rules or finding something that isn’t listed on the page, please reach out to me.
As always, thank you for all that you do for our youth, volunteers, agents, and regional and state staff!
