The Fritz family, from Tipton County, has been recognized for their involvement and commitment to 4-H youth. They were presented with the prestigious 2020 Hale Master 4-H Family award. The purpose of the Hale Master 4-H Family Recognition Award is to recognize 4-H families for their consistent leadership and exceptional involvement on the county, region and state levels of 4-H work. The Fritz Family includes Laura and Patrick, and their children, Andras, Theresa, Jacinta, Marita, Kateri, and Mattias.
The Fritz family has over 15 years dedicated to the Tennessee 4-H program. Their youth have excelled within the 4-H Youth Development Program in local, county, regional, and state programs in the areas of beekeeping, public speaking, photography, sewing, outdoor meat cookery, wildlife, engineering, and others. The family has been engaged in numerous 4-H marketing endeavors, has served on the County 4-H Advisory Committee, led many 4-H club meetings, transported Regional All Star members, and have done many, many other projects. The Fritz family is known to arrive early to assist with set up and stay late to tear down an event, wash dishes after a cooking program, or put supplies away.
