4-H Ambassador Spotlight: Aubrea Cole, Washington County

Aubrea Cole is a sophomore 4-H member who has been a part of 4-H since fourth grade through the T.E.A.C.H. 4-H Homeschool Project Group. Her major project areas are Citizenship, Personal Development, Creative Arts-Line & Design. She is currently serving as a Washington County 4-H  Ambassador. 

Aubrea is a member of Washington County 4-H Honor Club & All-Stars and has participated in many of the opportunities that 4-H offers such as:

  • 4-H bread baking 
  • Outdoor meat cookery 
  • Junior & senior judging teams
    • life skills, heritage skills, consumer decision making
  • Textile/Art camp 
  • Fashion & Design camp
  • Quilt camp 
  • Forestry project group
  • Shooting sports program
  • Teen leader & room chairperson

Aubrea is very creative & enjoys art, design & photography, particularly of plants & insects. She volunteers for many organizations outside of 4-H as well. She has not decided on a future career yet but says, “No matter what career I choose, 4-H has prepared me to succeed.”
