Virginia 4-H Teen Summit

Justin Crowe, 4-H Director and State Program Leader

This past weekend I had the opportunity to travel to Wirtz Virginia to the Skelton 4-H Center, to attend the Virginia 4-H teen summit. I was invited to present a session on the change focused on service-learning and how to become a change agent in your own community. I enjoyed visiting with each delegate and talking with youth about opportunities to truly become a change agent and become more involved in service and service-learning within their counties.

Also representing Tennessee was one of our Williamson County 4H members, Yusuf Dugan. Yusuf was invited by the Virginia 4-H program to attend and participate in activities and sit in on a panel discussion. Yusuf is an active Tennessee 4-H member and is very involved in a variety of projects and activities. He was a great representative of Tennessee 4-H and I was so proud that he was invited to attend the Virginia 4-H teen summit as well.

Thanks for what each of you to do provide opportunities to youth in your counties.
