Agricultural leaders around the country celebrated National Ag Day on March 20, 2018. Tennessee 4-H was pleased to join in the activities, as well. As part of Tennessee Ag Day on the Hill, several members of Tennessee 4-H State Council assisted with the legislative ag day supper at the Cordell Hull building in Nashville on Monday, March 19, 2018. This event provided agricultural organizations the opportunity to showcase the great work happening in Tennessee Agriculture with lawmakers. On Tuesday morning, as part of the House Agricultural Committee meeting, Grant Hitchcock, State 4-H Council President, addressed the group and shared his 4-H experiences and how they have shaped his life.
