Former Tennessee 4-H member, Gitanjali Rao, 15 years old, has been named TIME’s first-ever kid of the year.

Former Tennessee 4-H member, Gitanjali Rao, 15 years old, has been named TIME’s first-ever kid of the year. Gitanjali was a member of Williamson County 4-H prior to her move to Colorado in 2017.

Gitanjali was active in 4-H STEM and Communications Programs during her time in 4-H with Williamson County which has prepared her for TED Talks, Interviews, and more amazing opportunities that Gitanjali has been given over the past several years. Gitanjali is an amazing young inventor and mentor to other students.
