Cortez Chandler is a model 4-H member in Madison County. Cortez began his 4-H career at the Jackson Family YMCA as he participated in the 4-H Leaps and Bounds program. He went on to attend 4-H camp and has continued his involvement through the 4-H Honor Club and All-Star Programs. Currently, Cortez serves as a 4-H Healthy Living Ambassador for Madison County.

2018 Tennessee 4-H Congress
Another 4-H Congress is in the books. This year, the 71st annual Tennessee 4-H Congress, was most certainly one of the best. Highlights of Tennessee 4-H Congress included the opening pageant, state winners announced in Leadership and Citizenship, Public Speaking contest, Know Your Government mock legislative session, legislative visits, 4-H History Bowl with Lelan Statom, Operation Patriotism, the General Jackson showboat, and the closing banquet, among others.
