Teens in Picket County just finished teaching Health Rocks! lessons to 7th and 8th grade. The teens worked hard to prepare and teach each lesson, making an impact with the youth they taught.

Tim Held, one of Bradley County’s Honor Club members, is very active and looks for leadership opportunities in his club, in the count, and even on a regional and state levels.
Wayne Clark is a 4-H volunteer in Carter County. During our summer programs, he was our leader for the grilling portion of our programs.
Alayna Turbyfield is one of our teen leaders in Carter County with our Walmart Healthy Habits grant. She has been involved in teaching and planning lessons for our in-school clubs.
Cortez Chandler is a model 4-H member in Madison County. Cortez began his 4-H career at the Jackson Family YMCA as he participated in the 4-H Leaps and Bounds program. He went on to attend 4-H camp and has continued his involvement through the 4-H Honor Club and All-Star Programs. Currently, Cortez serves as a 4-H Healthy Living Ambassador for Madison County.
Jacob Genung is a Teen Leader in McNairy County for the Walmart Healthy Habits grant. Jacob is a sophomore at McNairy Central High School and is heavily involved in the Poultry Project, which began with the Check Chain in 2015. He has been involved in the McNairy County Teens Reaching youth program since its inception in 2016.
Melissa Shelton, 4-H Program Assistant, implements at least 50% of the Carter County in-school club program each year as well as teaches and prepares the summer programming for the Walmart grant.
Analynn Jones is a Robertson County 4-H member who is in the 10th grade, an Honor Club member and area representative for Central Region All Stars. In addition to her main project work Entomology, Analynn is active in public speaking, Consumer Decision Making Judging, citizenship, and leadership.
Sarah Myers is a 12th grace 4-H member who has been very instrumental in the Crockett County Health Rocks! programs. Sarah serves as a Health Rocks! Student Ambassador and has helped with our “Health Rocks! Bash” for the past five years.
