Thursday night saw 92 Tennessee 4-H’ers inducted as Vol State members during State 4-H Round- up. This impressive candlelight ceremony held at the World’s Fair Park in downtown Knoxville, honored outstanding members with the highest level of recognition a Tennessee 4-H’er may receive, the Vol State Award.
Service is an integral part of the 4-H All Star program. In 2018-2019, 74 counties completed 514 projects, totaling 617,475.65 hours of service to the community. These volunteer hours, performed by 4-H members, had an economic impact on the state of Tennessee in the amount of $13,998,173.00. Way to go, Tennessee 4-H All Stars!
