4-H Project Areas

4-H project areas give youth the chance to dive into topics they’re curious about—or discover brand new interests. Whether it’s science, agriculture, art, leadership, or animals, projects offer a fun, hands-on way to learn, grow, and get involved.

The best part? You don’t need to have any experience—or even own an animal—to get started. 4-H is all about learning by doing.

Along the way, members build valuable life skills like communication, record-keeping, and personal development. As they advance, even more opportunities become available, like attending academic conferences, creating digital portfolios judged on project involvement, and even earning college scholarships for senior high members.
