Two exciting events with Next Chapter occurring on May 18.
4-H’ers-do you have a hidden talent? What about a not-so-hidden talent? Has social distancing given you the opportunity to learn a new talent or perfect an old one? Perhaps, you love to sing, play an instrument, or dance, or maybe you like to perform and act. Maybe you like martial arts or cup stacking. “Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars.”
Even with the best of efforts to host a face-to-face, B.E.S.T. (Building Exceptionally Skilled Teachers), plans to host this training spring 2021 are not going to happen. However, fall dates – if everything holds in place and continues to move forward – will take place late, fall 2021.
Of course, being able to be in a room and manipulate objects is more fun but for a virtual experience, I would highly recommend it. Escape rooms provide numerous life skills for youth including communication, problem-solving, and team building. Solving puzzles entails listening to others, being open to new ideas, and allowing their contribution in finding a way to escape the room.

I saw tons of social media posts, videos, texts, etc. where 4-H members shared how the program had impacted them.
